Your everyday lead acid battery found in automobiles, pickup trucks, tractors, and heavy equipment emits corrosive gas that can erode and damage the original equipment battery’s hold down bracket and J bolts. Allowing an unrestrained, heavy battery to slide around can create a hazardous situation. The solution is to use Tech Team’s replacement battery hold down set. The set consists of an acid resistant epoxy coated cross battery brace / bracket / clamp that can adjust to fit batteries from 4.5” to 8.626” in width and 2 – 11” 8mm diameter, corrosion resistant, zinc plated J bolts with 3.5” of M8 x 1.25 thread with wing nuts and washers. The J bolts will support batteries from 7” up to 10.5” inches high.Installation is a simple process on most applications but there are always exceptions. With that thought in mind, it’s a good idea to review the detailed drawings that we have provided and compare them to your particular requirements. Keep in mind that in some situations you may need to drill or adjust the battery tray/pan so that the J bolts can make a solid connection.Includes one (1) battery hold down and hardware
