Tech Team’s #840 Picture & Mirror Hanging Set provides excellent support for heavy pictures, mirrors, and wall decorations. The heavy-duty hangers and braided wire are rated for 50 lbs. and the set comes with drywall anchors and screws that are long enough and can reach a stud through drywall. Keep in mind that the weight capacity of each hanger will depend on the strength of the material they are being attached to. The 1” screws are long enough to find a stud behind most drywall. In the absence of an available stud, use of the drywall anchors is recommended. Remember that thinner drywall will support less weight.
