The oversize 16” diameter flat-free tire rolls easily across irregularities anduneven and frozen ground. The wheel uses two durable ball bearing assemblies to support the axle. Combined with the dual ball bearings and solid steel mounting plate, the wheel can support up to 400 lb. tubular steel farm and agricultural gates.The mounting plate and clamps are easy to install, only needing a box wrench or socket. The clamps can accommodate tubular steel up to 1 ¾” in diameter. The array of holes in the support plate allows the wheel to be installed at various heights to accommodate many different gate heights and ground clearances. The gate wheel comes with one (1) flat free tire and wheel, one (1) mounting bracket, and three (3) custom flat back clamps. The flat back design of the mounting plate and the multiple arrays of mounting holes are also perfect for attaching to wood or vinyl gates.
