They are also ideal for aligning and locking dining room table leaves and halves quickly and efficiently.These heavy-duty, zinc plated steel bracket sets have a superior design with heavy duty leaf springs for maximum holding power. We have prepared a video showing how easy it is to install them for furniture connecting. You should find the video extremely helpful.Once the installation is complete (watch the video) you will have a triangle shaped ratchet keeper on one furniture member and the “Alligator” grabber on the other. Engage the 2 parts and the gear teeth of the “Alligator” will ratchet along the keeper and lock the 2 pieces together, use 2 sets for best results. To disengage just elevate the part with the keeper. The Alligator half can be rotated 90 degrees out of the way for storage and to make installation of the screws easier.In addition to connecting sectional furniture the brackets can be useful for connecting office furniture, desks, and office cube farm partitions.
