Tech Team’s Hook plate brackets are frequently used for new bed and / or bed rail construction. The hooks fit headboards and foot boards that have a bed rail mounting slot with 2 internal pins or studs. The hook plates are heavy duty 2.5mm thick stamped steel with a rust and corrosion resistant yellow zinc dichromate finish. Many times, you have a head or foot board that needs to be mated to bed rails that were not part of the original set and you need to make new rails because the backset of the hook is not deep enough resulting in a gap between the end of the rail and the face of the head / foot board. This space can cause the bed to wobble and squeak. The set includes four .25” by 1.25” steel pins to mount the hook plates. Measure carefully to determine the correct backset for the hook plate then use the hook plate as a template for locating the holes for the mounting pins. The set includes 2 hook plates and 4 pins.
